We have 2 more Mondays left of the school year! 😳 And my shirt about sums it up... Prayer is what’s getting me through! Anyone else with me?! 🙏🏼

There’s something about handwritten notes that always get me! This week I’ve gotten some gifts and letters from current and former students. 😭 I don’t think they realize how much they really mean to me. Teaching can be difficult, and sometimes I wonder if I’m doing enough or even making a difference. These type of weeks bring me back to why I started teaching in the first place. I love what I do, and I love my students. 🤍 Also, my students heard that I like kitkats and hooked me up!! 🤣🤣

It’s that time of year when I have to say Uranus multiple times to a group of 11 and 12 year olds over and over. 😅 My students made memes about the planets, and they did not disappoint! 😂 They even threw in some about me. 💀 Which one is your favorite??

I wore my hair in a ponytail for the first time this year, and one of my students says, “I thought you were a man.” 😩 Then they were talking about it in the chat. 🤦🏼‍♀️ We ended the day with a photo shoot by one of my students, and if you keep swiping, you can tell the poses were inspired by them. 🙃 Happy weekend y’all!

We are planting a church! 😱🙃😬😁 (cue ALL the emotions) Today was our last Sunday @mountainwestchurch and it was so bittersweet. This church is the real deal and the pastors @shreve.michael and @mothershreve are one of a kind! I credit this church and their leaders for the growth I’ve seen in us over these past 5 years. We are honored to have had the opportunity to serve @mountainwestchurch, and we are hopeful for our future @shape.church! Y’all are forever family. 🤍
